Gretchen Woodley

Gretchen Woodley (Costumes) has a connection to WDI that goes back over 70 years – her parents first met while performing in Ladies of the Jury in 1939 at Wheaton Drama.  Continuing the family tradition, she’s worked on many WDI productions and designed costumes for Don’t Dress For Dinner, The Apple Tree, two productions of A Christmas Carol, To Kill A Mockingbird, Broadway Bound, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Blithe Spirit, See How They Run, I Hate Hamlet, City Of Angels and Chicago. She currently works at College of DuPage where she’s designed everything from operas to children’s shows.   Gretchen has worked in Chicago theatre, including designing the original costumes for Grease, as well as in theatre and movies in Los Angeles.
